The Nutrition and Food safety Institute

The Nutrition and Food Safety Institute (NFSI) is a scientific and technological organization under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA). It operates in accordance with the Law on Science and Technology No. 29/2013/QH13, Government Decree No. 08/2014/ND-CP dated January 27, 2014, Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BKHCN dated March 31, 2014, from the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the charter and regulations of VUSTA.

The predecessor of the Nutrition and Food Safety Institute was the Family Nutrition and Food Institute, established on May 2, 2012, under Decision No. 297/QD-LHHVN of VUSTA. It was renamed the Nutrition and Food Safety Institute on September 25, 2018, under Decision No. 981/QD-LHHVN of VUSTA.

The headquarters of the Nutrition and Food Safety Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) is located on the 3rd floor, 130 Nguyen Duc Canh Street, Tuong Mai Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi City.
