Nutrition and Food Safety Institute (NFSI)
Operating under Law on Science and Technology 29/2013/QH13, Government Decree 08/2014/ND-CP of 27 January 2014, Circular 03/2014/TT-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology of 31 March 2014, and the charter and rules of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.
The Nutrition and Food Safety Institute (NFSI) is a science and technology organisation under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.
It operates under Law on Science and Technology 29/2013/QH13, Government Decree 08/2014/ND-CP of 27 January 2014, Circular 03/2014/TT-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology of 31 March 2014, and the charter and rules of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.
The institute began as the Family Food and Nutrition Institute, established on 2 May 2012 under Decision 297/QD-LHHVN of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. It was renamed the Nutrition and Food Safety Institute on 25 September 2018 under Decision 981/QD-LHHVN.
